Brainstorming

Currently, I am thinking of three ideas for my Zine. From personal interests to stories my mind came up with. I want to list some of the ideas I came across while I brainstormed.

My first idea is the idea of nature this could be forests, artics, jungles, deserts, you name it. Create a journey and story that will take you across different places worldwide. Each page would be decorated with elements that relate to the specific place that makes it so unique. It’s a good idea for something that relates to the earth.

My second idea is “Creation”. This is a more elaborate idea, but I want to explore things that involve things you create. This could be art, architecture, film, etc. I like this one because it relates to my interest in creating new things for people to see and enjoy.

My last idea is cartoons. Mainly black and white cartoons like Steam Boat Willy. Since Steam Boat Willy is no longer exclusively owned by Disney. That style of animation inspired me to create a story that uses the same style as in those old cartoons. I would like to make it goofy, corky, fun, and expressive. As well as keeping that black-and-white color scheme.

In conclusion, I want to make stories that are interesting and fun to look at that's why I’m leaning more towards the Steam Boat Willy idea. The nature and creation ideas are also up for debate because they have the use of good storytelling and include personal interests and hobbies I enjoy.
